John, you never cease to amaze me with your artistry and quality. This is one amazing looking case. Awesome job!

Your friend, Dave

This is by far the best looking case on your website. If you keep making cases that look like this, you will get some of my money for sure

Great Looking Case

JB I have to be honest with you and no offense.. I have not liked one single case you have made, Until now.

Great case and if you keep em coming like this one I'm sure we will see them all over the place.

:-) None Taken - I guess I have to say though that if you like this case then most of the credit goes to Jay Flowers and Jack Justis cuz it's their style.

Although when we were planning the diamonds I thought it would come out pretty sporty.

Actually when I put the case on my shoulder I kind of was taken back to 1990 when I got my first Flowers. This style definitely has a look to it that says, "player".

Thanks for the compliments and I will accept this award on behalf of Jay and Jack who aren't here to accept it. ;->

I really like the Case, now if you had put the Handle/Strap on the Left Side, and a Shoulder Pad. Case gets a

You are right about the pad. I will make one tomorrow that will go with the case.

As for the placement of the strap and handle :-) Order one and I will put it wherever you want ;->

Thanks for the thumb ups!

I have said that I will not buy one of your cases. Mostly because you haven't made one that I like yet. Until now. This one is outstanding.

Even though the others are highly tooled and very fancy, they still look like an Instroke. I just don't like that look.

Thanks Hal. I did start out with the Instroke pattern because it's what I know best and what most people know from me.

In all my years I wanted to move away from Jay's style and establish my own. I think I did that and now I feel that it's ok to explore this style now.

Already I am trying out new ways to do the pocket that attempt to retain the large area for tooling and are somewhat easier to get into.

Let me ask you and everyone reading this, do you find that the pockets done in this style with the zippers on the side only are hard to use?

Would you be down for something that opens like a box?

for me the zipper on the side isn't bad.
having the zipper open up like a box would be better. i could just get what i want instead of digging around looking for something i don't need. thats just my two cents

I like the zipper on the side. Maybe just what I'm used too though. I think it gives a nice clean appearance to the pocket and the case. I guess I can't invision the pocket opening like a box, but if the appearance is the same and it's easier to get stuff out of the pocket, that would be cool.

Have you ever done pockets similar to a soap/toiletry bag. I have a leather soap bag with a zipper that when open allows you FULL access to the contents. On both ends is a metal piece/frame or spring.

If you are uncertain I will see if I can post some pictures. It seems like it could be a good idea if implemented.
