Do you NOT think an additional record from Jayson devalues his achievement, and thus each successive one as well?
It does.
Now, if Jayson's record was broken by another player and Jayson wanted to take it back....that story would be worth at least 287$.
Awesome! Please tell me you will be streaming on YouTube this time?
Nice and loose like any table should be for 14.1Whats the pocket specs on this table? Thanks.

This will come in handy often on any forum, especially when you know how to use Picfont.com free editing to fill in the recipient's details when awarding. We've all heard of TV's "Emmy" and the music industry's "Grammy". This award can become AZB's special-category one called the "Arnie" in honor of the old fool who hereby contributes it for use on appropriate occasions:Whatever they are, they are debatable(as usual)
(I think an old forum software provided a smilie of a horse, dead and being well beaten)
Six of them.Nice and loose like any table should be for 14.1
I think the numerous high-runs at the national tournament in Virginia Beach (Diamonds/tight pockets/triangle rack) a few yrs. ago proved otherwise. Make the pockets big enough, and likely many could run 1000 with a template rack.Nice and loose like any table should be for 14.1
Hi how were they? Any records of the runs to see how many they were and is there documentation on the pocket size used ? Super clean conditions help big runs just as much, just Nick the rack and a few will pop outI think the numerous high-runs at the national tournament in Virginia Beach (Diamonds/tight pockets/triangle rack) a few yrs. ago proved otherwise. He said after he finished his back was killing himJayson is a beast! And a glutton for punishment. I don't think most people realize just how grueling this can be. It's practically a superhuman feat to be at the table for the amount of time it takes to do this. I wish him the best of luck!

I differ. IMO 90% of the superb world-class players who posted noteworthy high-runs there would not even come close to Jayson's current and likely future mega-runs.I think the numerous high-runs at the national tournament in Virginia Beach (Diamonds/tight pockets/triangle rack) a few yrs. ago proved otherwise. Here we go already. The run isn't legit because it wasn't done on a Diamond table set up for 9 ball?I think the numerous high-runs at the national tournament in Virginia Beach (Diamonds/tight pockets/triangle rack) a few yrs. ago proved otherwise. Whats sloppy? Have you seen the table he us playing on? Gold criwns and Diamonds are not the same. We all know this.Any of these pool records are just exhibition records, nothing more.
Pool has no standard professional table spec.
Its not like Snooker, which does, and therefore professional records are well established.
One day, who knows.
Matchroom is playing around trying to standardize pocket sizes at their events.
But, they are not the WPA.
Same with Predator et al.
It's not like the WPA has had decades to establish a professional standard... Oh wait, they have...
So, it will take fresh blood on that board to address it and get it done.
It will be easier for every single table manufacturer after that and organisor who wants to run a professional event to do so.
The wide range of tolerances on current WPA specs are guidelines, not a spec for professionals.
Still, they do for exhibitions and these types of attempts... So, at least follow those and don't go too hard on the sloppiness of tables...
It would be great to put this to bed.
Exhibition records.
Vs.
Professional records.
Don't see it happening in the current climate.
Still, wish Jayson all the best in this latest exhibition attempt.
Running that many balls in a row, even on sloppy tables is a huge feat of skill, endurance and concentration of the mind.
The guidelines seem pretty clear to me:The wide range of tolerances on current WPA specs are guidelines, not a spec for professionals.
