Well, he does run a ton of balls rather fast. But I am not sure that the table he is playing on now has been played on by the other competitors, I believe that it was said this was a new reworked table. Also, was the table on which he ran the record the same one as the other competitors were using? I thought that set up was also a bit different as well. Not being controversial - just repeating what I believe that I had heard or what I see.
Hundred ball runs on this table for someone of Jason's caliber are not really a big deal. The pocket size and configuration is absolutely no challenge for him to pocket almost any conceivable shot on the table. You can see him barely focusing on OB aiming points, so he is not wasting focus energy there at all. He can play out of pattern almost at will bc making a shot is not a factor for him on this table.
His focus is on opening the balls, keeping the CB free, getting a break shot, and not scratching- doing those four things for him on this table and 100 ball runs are a given. I hope that he hits the 500 mark today!
