Like people that just like a simple cue design there is a simple case option too. A stock JB is hands down the best option for protecting your cues. For those that enjoy the equipment as a part of the whole pool experience, it is worth the extra to get the case you want. Whether you add functional or cosmetic options, having a unique case that fits your personality and needs is a huge bonus. I ordered my second custom two weeks ago, so only 8 more weeks to go. You won't be disappointed.
Let me tell a story about JB’s customer service.
ordered a case in the same colors as a custom cue i had also ordered. it arrived a good year before cue and I left it in the box. When the cue was finished and I got the case out I noticed a section where the stitching looked off. Snapped a picture and I sent to to John, who told me to send it back and he would take care of it. He “took care” of it by having a whole new case constructed and having it sent to me.
I can’t say enough about his product. And he stands behind it and will work with customers to resolve issues.

It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that ping.
You're gonna love it. I got one this year and it has amazing build quality. I feel I could drop it down 3 flights of stairs without any damage happening to the cue. Just a damn good case that feels like a real tool instead of some afterthought.
Everyone has already said it but I'll add that I love mine and I'm sure you will love your new case.

The pictures don't do them justice. These cases are really beautiful, and functional too.
I considered going cheap just to have something soon but knew that would be a mistake. I was tempted by some of the Instroke Buffalo series but don't care for all the embellishments.
In the end I chose one of the classic JB Mason leather but requested it without the tooling. I like the clean, smooth appearance.
And the JB interior protection seems superior to most others.
I think I've purchased at least 23 cases from John & Karen, maybe more. Only company I purchase from anymore.
I've had my JB Custom Leather Mason case for several weeks now. Obviously very pleased with everything about it. Quality, appearance, functional. It's a work of art, beautiful! I wanted the clean, unadorned look without embellishments. This is exactly what I'd hoped for from the start.
It took a while, and I became impatient, but always knew that it would be worth the wait.
Delays were mostly because John wouldn't send out anything which was less than perfect.
Big thanks to John and Karen for working with me!
The only downside is that when I walk into a place with this case, everyone expects me to be a much better player than I really am!

Had a JBCases Mason it was great Case, I was stupid to sell it.
