You sir are the one lacking in reading comprehension skills. Johnson was the first to bring up the subject of Jeanette dressing like a stripper. You never spoke on the subject, as I read the thread, until your "skin tight panties" comment! Perhaps there is some guilt here? You sir, have mis-read the thread. I also note that the post you quote was BeeMan quoting Johnson. No where was your name mentioned! No apology granted here.

I knew i'd get some reactions, funny larry thought they was attacking him. Yes i understand she is selling herself, she is bringing attention to herself, i think without her attire no one would pay much attention to her, jennifer chen is much more attractive, jeanatte was on an espn special last night and i saw a bunch of close ups of her and i personally don't think she's all that, and that fits in with her stripper image, jennifer chen is much more attractive along with a lot of other women players that don't dress like strippers. If you think she doesn't dress over the top then you're hormones over take you're judgement. She is a lot like anna kournikova except anna is much more attractive, and she doesn't need tennis to make a living, without pool jeanatte would probably be a stripper, she already has the wardrobe for it. Anna could dress up in a potato sack and still be one of the hottest women on earth. But jeanatte can play, i just don't like how she dresses, i figure most of the men don't agree with me, i really don't care.

I have observed most bozo morons rarely post beyond 14 words, typing with one finger is to trying beyond that. The brain begins to do a melt down.
Listen to what I say and tell people, all I really know is that I do know now after over a half century of learning and study that I now know nothing. You are correct in saying that being ignorant does not necessarily mean you are an idiot,such as yourself. However, an idiot is a person who does not possess the mental/intellectual capacity to comprehend,reason, and deduce almost anything. This accurately describes you so therefore, my conclusion was correct, sir. As for trashing your opinion, be careful. Certain opinions are not subjective, they are only objective. I will cite your own Nazi example. Pro-Nazi factions opinionated that the genocide against Jews were justified. By what you are saying, even though I denounce Nazism, I should not protest because it was the OPINION of the Nazis? And it makes me an idiot because I disagree with this particular "opinion"? I sure hope yobagua isn't reading this thread, cause if he is, we'll have a hell of a time keeping him around. That Kodak moment sure didn't last! And as for Jeanette, I met her at the convention when it was in Orlando, and she is a classy gal and just as nice as she can be. Keep on dressing the way you want Jeanette.

Larry just achieved exactly what he wanted and asked for. You apologized to him for HIS lack of reading comprehension! You, Johnson, myself and others had a reasoned discussion of a well known players abilities and appearance. Larry turned it into an attack on his person. He changed the topic of the discussion and won! Oh well! Regardless, keep posting and I'll keep enjoying the discussions. Incidently, the purpose of my originating this thread was to cheer Jeanette on at the Delta Classic. She finished second. Well done!!!!

I did not apologise to Fast...I merely feel sorry that, after a little misreading, this post, along with many others, can turn nasty very easily...I see no point in aggrevating the situation, so I just try to keep the peace..

I too am a great Jeanette fan, have always admired her pool, and after reading her book, admire her mental game as well...For these reasons I cheer her on in all matches, wishing her to win..

She will be back to the top soon...

I saw it. The rest of them aren't paying attention to you Bruin because they're too busy fussin at each other! Actually, our little Gremlin friend posted some of Jennifer's pics a while back and one or two of them was so racey that he pulled them. Personally, I love women and have no problem with the way Jeanette, Jennifer or any of the other women dress. As a matter of fact, I'd love to see them dress with less! I like the way they play pool too of course!

Speaking of pool. I watched Jeanette play in the banks at DCC and although I already had a lot of respect for her 9 ball game, I came away from that tournament with a whole new respect for her. I watched her grind out several matches with guys who could bank better than her, she just out-played them in the safety department. I think she made a fine showing at DCC overall. Also, I have known George since he was about 18, and he used to hustle in the painters clothes as mentioned, now he works for a living. I still have tremendous respect for his game too. Sam

That was exactly the type of reply I was originally looking for. You may not have seen her play Efren one pocket. If my memory serves me, she came within two balls of beating him. She could move!!! as well as shoot. Her overall finish in the three disciplines was in the top ten percent. She also gambled well. Too many of us can't get past looking AT her. I must admit, I looked too! ;)

You are right, Jeanette's game is really starting to come around. She has now beaten Karen Corr 3 times in a row (but against Allison only 1 out of 3). She played a great match against Mika Immonen at DCC, but lost. She ran 3 racks, made no balls on the break, then Mika ran 3 racks and missed, Jeanette ran out, made no balls on the break, then Mika ran 4 racks to win. I don't recall her missing a shot (Mika only missed a couple). Her break is certainly not on a par with the men, but after that it seems pretty even. I don't believe she has ever played bank pool before, but did fairly well. She has recently run 152 in straight pool on a very tight pocket table (I believe it is now the women's record). Do I sound enough like a fan?? :) :)

Years ago when Jeanette lived in L.A. she practiced and gambled at the Hard Times in Bellflower she matched up well and won thousands.

Back then Jennifer Chen and Aileen Pippen also gambled at the Hard Times and usually won - good match ups. They also made road trips to Northern Cal and Gilroy.
 
Jeanette is gambling again.
A friend of mine who was at DCC, was offered by George 5 grand a set.
My friend, who is a good shooter, turned it down.
He said he didn't feel he had the nuts after watching her play for two days.

Hey Larry, if'n yer really that jealous you kin get ya some of the implant hooters. Knew a transvestite in Atlanta that got him some. Dude looked really weird in guy clothes though. ;)
