i dunno, seems like the jury is still out on her as far as i am concerned. i kinda get the impression its beneath her to talk to me. guess i might try and speak to her again this June in Peoria.
Allison, on the other hand, has seen me enough that she always waves and speaks. on tuesday night at the 2002 BCA tournament in Vegas Allison was getting ready to play Akimi Kajitani (sp?) and i was the only one sitting next to her in the VIP seats. kind of surprising to me that nobody else was there to watch her play. anyway, just before the match started she turned and asked me how i was doing, said she remembered seeing me before. i ALWAYS watch allison play, thats probably the reason why. and then 3 months later in Peoria she saw me on friday night just before her match with Monica Webb started and she smiled and waved. nice girl, class act, tremendous skill level, nice a...

In all fairness to Jeanette, she is never going to have the time to become good buddies with all of her fans. At Peoria last year, she spent 90 minutes after 1 of her matches just signing autographs. If she added 5 minutes of chit chat to each request she would have been there 8 hours. Remember the players still have matches for which they must prepare. Its wonderful if our favorite players have time to schmooze, but lets not judge them harshly if they can't always find the time. There's always the pool playing we can admire.
P.S. - Unfortunately there seems to be a fine line between avid fan and psycho-stalker.
