Compliments of Bob Jewett and Elvicash.

D-man,
Thanks for the link. I will have to say that it is obvious that JL benefited TREMENDOUSLY from having her own incredibly skillful, personal rack boy; it's hardly fair to the other competitors. Straight pool can be very easy with such superior racks to start with. JMO.

DMG,
Take a look at the very nice shot at 4:30 where she manufactures a break shot by gently knocking the 8-ball out of the rack area. An example of a world class shot requiring the perfect combination of speed, spin, and angle on a deceptively easy-looking shot.

Also take a look at the table layout at 5:43 (after she misses going into the 2 trouble balls on the rail). Ask yourself if it looks like any amateur like us is going to get out of this rack.

When watching her play, I am always struck by the fact that there is always a plan (though it might take her a while to come up with one with her very deliberate pace); she is ALWAYS relentless about taking care of the trouble balls as early as possible; and she is relentless in her desire to NOT run into any ball unless it's on purpose, and then to have a plan for how the clusters will spread when she does go into them, and a definite target on any ball that she does decide to nudge. Very instructive; and in my view very representative of the "old school" game.

Thanks for letting us know, for converting the videos and for the kind words :)

I hope people should give some thoughts to the followings:

0, support Bob's event by signing up or helping with videos(thx again to elvicash)

1, study the video carefully,
2, pause at every key point during the run,
3, ask questions,
4, draw the layout on CueTable,
5, have a public discussion,
6, share all the knowledge together.
7, archive 1-6 for the future generation.

A lot of these have already happened on different places. All straight pool fans should help organize them together. We have worked hard to make CueTable Library the archival place for people.

1, It is not necessary a chat room
2, It has a system for cataloging and searching
3, It utilize current technologies

Here are 30+ Youtube / Google 14.1 videos we found online, made by kind people such as yourself.
http://library.cuetable.com/forumdisplay.php?f=85

We should take full advantage of the technology when it is readily here, the whole WeiTable idea has been already 10 years old. There are many more things I plan on creating to help the pool world :)
