19.25 oz. 1 - 13mm shaft, Bird's eye Maple forearm 6 Cocobolo Points, 3 high, 3 low, each framed with a perfect single black veneer. Black phenolic (I think) 3/8" 10 flat faced joint with thin nickel silver rings above and below. Southwest style decorative rings above and below the black lizard wrap, and one ring of the same pattern above the butt cap. Butt is Cocobolo, with a thick Maple ring. Shaft is Perfectly straight, Hercules Layered Medium Hard Tip. Cue is signed Olney 07'. I won this cue on a raffle here on AZ a few years back and have never hit a ball with it. The cue is used, however and has 2 flaws in the finish. There is a nick the size of a pinhead in the finish over the cocobolo part of the butt, and there is a scratch in the finish above the wrap on one of the points. The scratch is minor and does not go very deep into the clear coat. Scratch is 8mm long, and very thin and faint. I am not 100% sure what the cue is worth. Jeff obviously makes Awesome cues and he's got quite a wait list, so pricing strictly by the blue book might not be accurate. I am asking $750.00 http://s735.photobucket.com/albums/ww353/caesar8222/Jeff%20Olney/?action=view&current=cuefish013-1.jpg

Pricing

Bump, Need some opinions please from anybody that feels like chiming in: Am I in the ballpark with pricing on this cue? Thanks

My best guess is yes. I think that is a very fair price for the cue. Jeff's work is top notch and that cue looks great. I would agree with that price.
Might also help if you pull the pics from photobucket and post them in the first post. best of luck with sale.

I think your close on price. I sold one almost just like it but not quite as fancy rings w/ two shafts for $500, but it did not have the lizard wrap. It's a tough market. $600 might be top for this but who knows....you'll find out if you wait long enough.

By the way, yours is a 6 point cue (not 4), three up and three down.

points

Whoops, thanks for noticing my typo on the points. And thanks for input on the price.

nice cue

great cue here people and i have personally seen this cue...it is nice along with his other cues good luck with sale

Olney Cue

I have new found respect for people that sell cues for a living....Pretty tough crowd on here. The economy has made it tough to sell anything, anyway, these cues gotta go, I will entertain all reasonable offers! Anyone?

Price drop

Cue has to go....Price drop to $600.00 Firm. This is a TON of cue for the money

Don't get discouraged so easy. It's only been on the market for 3 days. There must be someone in the pool world that has $600.00 to spend on a pool cue....especially one as nice as yours. The only problem I see is that it only has 1 shaft. Good luck with the sale.

This is one heck of a deal for this cue, I cannot believe it hasn't sold yet.
Bump to the top.

Remy knows his Olneys. I am getting to know mine very well.
This is a great deal and I know this cue plays great.... because it's an Olney.
