Jeff Olney Pau Ferro..

I recently received my Jeff Olney cue which is in the pictures below. It's Merry Widow, Pau Ferro wood with a classic linen wrap. Jeff made the cue to my EXACT specs, I mean down to the mm and tenth of an ounce I requested. The pin fits so nice and snug into the shaft, perfect finish, perfect wrap, perfect everything.

I had the chance to play with an Olney about 5 years ago but as hindsight is always 20/20, I too did not envision just how well I had it. I sold the previous Olney for another cue and went through a dozen in the mean time each time kicking myself for selling the perfect player that I let go.

Well I just want to say that this one is even better. I had zero problems adjusting to the new cue, this one will not be sold, I'd not take double what I paid for it. Jeff is one of the guys that does not let anything short of perfection leave his shop, he's a helluva nice guy too. I can't say enough about just how well this cue plays. If you have never had the chance to play with one, I'd suggest you try to get your hands on one. It's a treat to play with such an amazing, well balanced, fine tuned cueing instrument!

Thanks for everything Jeff!

Looks like you got yourself a winner there Mo.
Congrats & thanks for sharing your pics.

Great cue, I can't say enough about the superb crafstmanship and playability of his cues. Thanks for posting the pics.

Great

Jeff's cues are really Jam-up cues. They are very undervaued in my opinion. I've sold cues that weren't half as good as an Olney for more money because of the way the market is. That is why you have a hard time finding Olneys at times, and when you do people won't pay what they are worth. His cues are worth at least a third more than the market is demanding right now.

Very well said Tommie, Jeffs cues do look & play great.
His attention to detail, fit & finish is unreal.

I too could not agree with Tommie any more. Jeff's cues are simply amazingly built and play
like a dream.

Beautiful cue. I was going to order a cue from Jeff several years ago, but something came up. I kick myself for not going through with it.
