I thought the movie would never get done,
but the website is pre-selling the DVD for
ONLY TWO BUCKS, including a ticket to see it live.

What's up with that?

Well they have been preselling it for a while now. I don't know for how much, but I guess they are selling it for $2 to make money to finish the darn thing now.

I think I will honestly wait until it actually comes out before I buy a copy.
 
I guess Jennifer Layne Park thats playing "Black Diamond" in the movie is the "Black Widow" in the movie. Funny...I went to Park's web site and didn't see anything on it about the 9-ball movie or Mainstream. Maybe I missed it:rolleyes: Johnnyt
 
Watch the video clip they have about the movie. There is a special rack somebody was using to rack the 9-ball rack. Who made this wrack? It's kinda like the sardo but open a the top.

chamelon rack. I won one at the SBE last year and used it for about 2 weeks till it pissed me off something royally, its good for 8 ball, but 9 ball is horrible to rack with it.

first off, wtf is Jennifer Layne Park.

second, if she wants to go anywhere in hollywood maybe it was decided it best not to mention the pool movie.
 
A DVD being released the same time that it hits the theaters? And for $2? Weird.
 
Didn't they sell a pre-order of this DVD at one of the pool trade shows or big tournaments last year for $9.95 or $14.95? I can't find the thread, but I know I'm not completly senile yet...NO we can't vote on that. Johnnyt
 
I sure hope the $100 (maybe?) they will earn from this pre-sale is not the difference between making this film and not making it?
