i just noticed the Jennifer beretta secion on Az is now gone...

does anybody know what happened to it?

does anybody know the status of her movie?

we paid for a copy at valley forge the first year they started advertising it with the promise it would be available at the end of the year.. now it turned into years.. apparently the producers went to the same school Kevin Treaudo (sp?) did...

i have no problem waiting for this since we waited so long already..

but i need to know that it is deffinatly still comming out!

my understanding is that the movie and jennifer are 2 separate things.

I have heard that with the new addition of Max, that she has retired from pool, COMPLETELY.

as far as the movie, I dont think it was ever finished, as the finances didnt pan out. i dont think they ever got to even filming her parts.

for real though that section was a good idea but with her child arriving i'm sure she had enough on her plate. it figures she stopped posted and it makes sense that she quit playing. she didn't post a whole lot anyway so it's not a huge loss
 
It was only 2 bucks so its not that big a deal. but then again you pay so you should receive....or atleast a refund which is more than likely not gona ever happen.

it was 20something... i believe it was like 20 dollars for the movie and 8 dollars for shipping...

when they were selling the pre orders.. they never said the movie wasnt finished.. they just said it was due out at the end of the year..


damn scam artist..

For a while at the end there they did actually run a "special" where you could pre-order the movie for only $2. I think the shipping was going to be like $5 or something, I don't recall the shipping amount for sure.

I was almost tempted to order it when it was offered for only $2, but then I thought that for them to run that kind of special they had to have been real broke and real desperate, and that it was probably just a scam to recoup a few bucks before they threw in the towel, so I didn't even bother. Looks like I was probably right.

Depressing?

Get some perspective my friend. Hurricane Ike is depressing to the victims. The 9/11 anniversary was depressing. Not getting a movie you paid for from Jennifer Baretta should be mildly annoying.

Yeh i paid $2 for a copy. I think they said at the time they needed money to finish the movie so thats why they were selling $2 copies so i thought i would help support the cause and eventually get a copy. But i guess not. Thats ok hope my 2bucks made the difference for somebody i guess.

Lets be clear, Jennifer had nothing to do with the pre-selling of this film or the producers failure to get enough financing to make it happen. She had a lot more at stake here than $2-$30 and should not be tarnished or held accountable for it falling apart.
