Jenson cue ???

pretty strange. I've had many Jensens & his old JC buttcap logo or signature on every cue going back in the 80's.

Didn't know this came from Mark - his word is good as gold.

ok. now, back to trolling...

trollin? trollin' ? t-rolling? trawling?

Thanks Von!, I also got an email from the guy I sold it too saying that he was positive of the cue being a jensen since he had another one and the deal the great! and couldnt have been happier.

I am done posting in this thread as nothing wrong has been done by me, and I hate it these guys automatically start thinking there was.

Daniel---I have owned about 15 Jensens, and out of those I had 3 that were not signed with his name or JC. They were usually plain, merry widow cues. When I asked him at the Derby about that, I got from him that there was no rhyme or reason to it.

Thanks
Mark

I did not mean to imply that lawman did anything wrong or was being deceitful in any way. I apologize if it came out that way. I don't know Mark...his word may very well be good as gold. I simply wanted the OP to be able to connect with lawman to get the info directly from him.

I'll go back to my bridge now, later!

sounds like Mike to me Lawman. LOL

Sorry for the misunderstanding, but I never said I was unhappy with my purchase, this is a very nice cue, I paid a fair price and am just trying to verify it is a Jenson. I will contact Mike when i have the time. David

If you were not happy with the cue I wish you would have emailed me and we could have worked something out instead of finding out much later. You paid alot less than I did and I would have been glad to have glad to have refunded your money.Sorry to not have posted this earlier but I have been without power since first reply.

Jerry

Thanks for the info

After reading this I do now believe it is a Jenson. I will contact Mike when i have the time. Thank you for your input. David

Well heres why "I am a 100% sure" lol....Trolls???? but anyway....The cue was sold by me on consignment from a guy I KNOW and have known for 20 years. He purchased the cue FROM Mike at the US open in the 90's. I sold it for like $300 bucks I think. If Mike says it aint his cue I would glady give back the $300 bucks, but I doubt that will happen......Since Mike made it. I dont think my buddy would lie when selling a cue for that little money, plus it looks dead on it.

I also NEVER said it was signed under the wrap....I simply said that it was a Jensen per my customer. I have no reason to believe it aint!!!
I was 25 feet away when he bought the cue from Mike....If its not real then Mike pulled a Kaiser Soze move on a $300 dollar cue LOL.

i have no reason to believe that it is not a Jensen:confused: People lately have been busting my balls and I dont know why?

All I do is spend money, and buy cues for my collection lol....Just got done playing golf league and had too many drinks. As always if there is a problem my number is 513-608-6982....Please call and tell me whats wrong with me?

I dont know the history of KC cues like some pundits BUT I know I have seen this cue in my customers possession for over 10-15 years. I believe that "outdates" KC cues.

Thanks

but thanks Troll:thumbup:

Verified

Had me wondering also, but I just got a reply back thru email from Mike Johnson that verifies this is one of his entry level cues from the early 90's and that it originally sold for $500. Thanks to everyone who helped me figure this one out. David

Would like to move this cue!

Gotta pay for my new Dayton, anybody interested in an older Jenson?
Refinished, rewrapped and dead straight.

Gee I'm shocked:eek::rolleyes: considering, like I said before I was 10 feet from Mike when it was bought:thumbup:

I will say that it plays great and is a great buy at the price. I'm sure I'll get some apologies:rolleyes:

Now wait just a minute, there's a 15 foot difference here and in that length of space it could very well be a number of different cue maker's.....:deadhorse:

Seriously though, I believe you.....:shocked2:
