There is a list of questions that all 3 of the contestants on Jeopardy got wrong, it's a very short list because either not all 3 try to answer or someone gets it right.

A sample one was "If you make this in, you have scratched."

No pool players were competing that day it seems.

Okay, I'll give it a try. What is: A scrotum infection?
How'd I do? Did I win anything?
I hope it's a T-shirt. :)

I guess Watson spent too much time in the library during his developmental phase, and none in the pool hall.

I recently had a job that involved Watson. They can feed a robot an encyclopedia, but the robot cannot ascertain or understand emotion, and with some questions on Jeopardy, as an example, emotions are intrinsic to thought on subject matters like poetry or art. ;)

This was not one of the Watson questions, from an earlier game. Although what they did with that computer is pretty amazing to have it find the context of the question not just the question itself.

The associative logic in watson is pretty awesome. Although large in size, the logic and size with continue to become more efficient over time. I thought Ken was going to have a fit after the first game.

"Make" as a verb throws folks off because it implies that the action was intentional. (In the few seconds they have to respond)

If the clue read, "If this goes in, you have scratched," I think they might have had a chance.

I think no pool players were writing the question either. :D

The manner you wrote it is definitely clearer. Perhaps there is a future for you as a Jeopardy question writer!
