I think Jesse Engle and Gene Albrecht of Perfect Aim have played one another a time or two.

Gene was the first guy to bring Jesse to AZB's attention.

Wow Celtic.....am I sensing a little jealousy in your comment. After all it would be silly for people to be excited and impressed by this young mans pool ability.

Hi there joey,

I was fortuanate to have been in Minneapolis for the past year or so and got to see Jesse transform from a guppy to a world wide threat at any time to any player.

He's really such a good kid also. Gets a little cocky every once in a while but we'rnt we all when we were 18. If i was playing like he is at 18 I wouldn't have been able to get my head in the door of the poolroom.

I'm in Milwaukee and miss seeing Jesse each week and playing with him in the weekly tournys.

Soon we will see him snap one of these off.

He's a pretty cool cookie.

You need to sense better then. It was a compliment, the kid tore through the US Open and beat a slew of champs, I was surprised when a kid did that, now when the same kid beat another champ I am more of "yep, he shoots that good". I would not be that surprised to hear about Wu beating Ralf, Jesse is getting to that same type of point in my mindset.

That is a compliment to his skills and recent success. Your reading it otherwise was your own misinterpretation of the true meaning.
 
Celtic, I read your first post as a positive remark.. I saw no jealousy, some folks just get their panties in a bunch too easy..

You are right, Jesse is a killer for sure!

Sorry Celtic if I misunderstood your post. Your use of the word redundant appeared to be in a negative fashion. For those of us who have been sitting on the edge of our seats and following Jesse for the last year to see if he has what it takes to compete at this level......there is nothing "redundant" about these posts.
