Sorry the cases are no longer on my website. Due to someone complaining to him about me doing pre-orders he has asked me to remove them from my site. So with all due respect to him I have removed them from my site. Seems like a few people complaining about all kinds of things I try to do. Sorry but thats only going to make me work harder to get better price's.

interested

I have been thinking about getting a Vintage one?

If the price is right I may be interested, also.

Bugs. :)

Yes, of course. I'm a big fan of Jim's work. The absolute best-crafted case on the market, bar none - IMO of course :p

Only concern is that an "off-the-rack" case by Jim Murnack is kind of a contradiction. Jim's specialty is designing and crafting custom cases. Nonetheless, I would like to see what you have....

Yep. His custom cases are in a class to themselves.

I have two, one standard and one custom vintage. I would and probably will buy another. Jim's cases are the best, bar none, and he is a great guy.

I bought one at valley forge and for the money there the best! There's a similiar case that is twice the price but Jim's case's are much nicer IMO

Hi, just wondering if anyone here would be interested in his cases? I may be coming across some of them in the next few days, and was just wondering if people would be interested in them. Not sure on price range just yet, but will know more soon hopefully.

People will always jump on a DEAL.... Tell the World what you got...:)

I think most of the JM Case OWNER are Happy with their Cases....:D

I bought one from a guy on ebay, brand new and at a fair price. The other one I designed and Jim made it. Its on his website GL2113. It is unsurpassed. He has since made another similar, w/o as much tooling. You have to see these to understand how much better they are. The leather is better quality and more supple than others and all the pockets are lined with condura. My case has a compartment for my extension and another one for a jump cue. Plus the pockets that are visible from the picture. Its a terrific case and all hand tooled. I also ordered a different latch than the others. Less than $900.00 at the time.

Try ebay, then call Jim.

YOU betcha

i would also be interested in seeing what cases you have to offer, i need a new case i really like Jack Justis as well.

As long as that class is right under Jack Justis's then I'd agree.
You just can't beat the best.

I have a Standard 1x2 in the Black Cherry. I was blown away at how well made these cases are!! The stitching is impeccable. While mine is not fancy, it is still a classy looking case, and I just LOVE the Black Cherry color!! I like the fact that even tho' it's only a 1x2 case, he still adds a padded shoulder pad to the strap...making for a comfy carry. And the leather used is very heavy-weight, in reference to it's thickness. Nice, quality cases!!

While Jack's cases are great and he is also great to deal with, Murnak cases are better in quality of workmanship, materials and design. Especially for the many people who prefer a hard tubed case to the cloth that Jack now uses. All Murnak cases are hand tooled while Jacks are stamped, unless special ordered with Ross' tooling and then the price tag will kill you. The lining in Murnak cases is a great idea along with the way the pockets are set up for various accessories. Not to forget the double straps, and if you have ever hauled a 2x4 or 3x6 around DCC, you know how much nicer it is to just throw it over your back. I am sorry to say, because I like Jack so much, but his cases have been outclassed, and for less bling.

Couldn't have said it better myself! I have a modified Vintage 2104 (3x5), in the best looking Black Cherry I've ever seen. You would not believe the compliments these cases get! Mine is not black-fade-to-red-to-black; Jim dyed the entire pelt a deep black cherry then started cutting. I also had Jim make an extra-thick padded strap like he did for Naz (look under Custom). http://jimmurnakcuecases.com/ And while you're there, look at that understated beauty he made for Earl! Incomparable quality!

Nothing against JJ, for he makes a fine case and is a great guy. But you really can't compare it to a Jim Murnack.

Jim Bo is funny... But double JJ does make a nice Case.

I am funny, but in this case I was being dead serious, there is no comparison between the cases, jack's are heads above Jim's. No knock on Jim, other then maybe weight, and being behind Jack isn't really an insult IMO.
