Jim Rempe

Has anyone heard from or seen Jim Rempe in the last few months? After the IPT situation, a lot of our real talents seem to have disappeared. He is one who I've not heard anything about. If anyone knows for sure, does he still plan on playing? I wish him & Sally all the best in whatever he pursues.

I seem to recall he pulled out of the last IPT event due to back problems. I haven't heard anything about his physical health since. Hope he's well, for I've always enjoyed watching him compete.

sjm,
That is also the last I've heard about him.

I hope the demise of the IPT was not the "final straw" for him and many of his generation. Hope can only be dashed so many times...

very interesting coincidence. This evening during my one pocket game with another pro I mentioned to my opponent about a particular shot he did not go for it where as when I went after the same shot I was able to run out on jim rempe many years ago.Ofcourse Jim already ran 6 racks on me prior to that.Jim and his wife are great people.
