Calling all experts and owners or previous owners of Jim Munark cases...i need your opinion about his cases...likes and dislikes about the case and why?

I have 3, 2-1x2's & a 3x6 and love them all. The 3x6 is the Vintage model and the pockets are easy to get things in & out. His tooling is done by hand not stamped and his cases don't look like everybody else's, craftmanship is top notch and a great guy to deal with.
 
What is the average wait time for one of these cases? I ordered a 1x2 quite a while ago (10 weeks) and it still has not arrived.
 
mr. keys, give jim a call. mine took about 11 weeks. the wait is worth it, believe me. short tubes make it easier to take cues from case

murnak cases are awsome. jim is great to work with. cases are made very well and the tool is super. jim is truely an artist.
 
Thanks, marty, advice is appreciated. I am looking forward to getting my case. I will contact Jim and request the short tubes.
 
I ordered mine with the inset tubes cause, cues fit with joint protectors on and it's easier to get the cues out..

I got the inserts as well, and have had no problem adusting the length as needed.

I got a 4x8 vintage.

Consider that you can specify any carving you want, as well as shading for both the carving and the body of the case.
