Joe Rogan at Skinny Bob's sweating the matches!!

I don't know Joe at all, but know he's a credible celebrity with a big following.

I'd like to see him do what Manny Pacquiao did, which was conceive of, help finance and promote a major new independent event.

Were he to produce a tournament called the "Joe Rogen Invitational" and use his network of contacts to help draw attention to it, pro pool might get a nice boost.
Rogan and Matchroom would also be something to see.

Joe could do all the shot by shot commentary with, fill in the blank...

IF Joe does anything as far as pool entertainment, he surely is NOT going to attach it to Matchroom or any other similar established brand.

Why would he?

The only reason why Joe may consider would be, he would not be starting from scratch.

For Joe, at some point he may just want to enjoy being around pool, without the stress of investment.

Probably not going to happen, but you never know.

I think Joe is beyond unlikely to do anything that looks like what a current big tournament does.

Honestly, I'd love to see him do a bong hit laden event.

Let the fire burn.

...bonkers blokes at Club 8 are at it again, one of the most fun tournaments of the year has just been announced, along with the prize fund for this year's event.

The Amsterdam (D)Open results are always clouded in mystery as the slightly dubious "unique selling point" of the tournament seems to be who can get most intoxicated on the positively encouraged herbal highs available at this event, whilst still being capable of winning the tournament.

Apparently the smoking ban has not interfered with the running of this event, and yet again, the Club 8 guys are proud to announce that this event is NOT sanctioned by any of pool's official governing bodies.

Perfectly timed to follow on directly after the EuroTour Dutch Open
