Joe T with Scott Lee

Thanks Joe for the report. Knowing you fairly well, I can understand what you are saying. With your marvelous talents as a Training Aid designer, great player, you will become an ICON in the NE.

I do hope you & your family are doing well. Hope you folks have a great Thanksgiving.

back to the thread... I spent a long day at Spetty's with Scott, he is Mr. STROKE, as far as I'm concerned.

I'm gonna try to attend Randy's Pool School in the spring. And then attempt to become a Recognized Instructor, through Cue-Tech.

CeeBee...Wow, I haven't been to SPetty's place in way too long. Her house is way too much fun! :D Guess we'll have to see if we can put together another party there, when I'm in Dallas in Feb.

"The answer is...IMMEDIATELY! I spent 4 hrs., on Saturday, with an A player in Boston, working on his stroke, and his setup and delivery. The very next day, he WON the "Best of the Best" Tournament. He sent me an email to let me know that it was due to my help, and that my directions were running in his mind, during the entire tournament."

I don't know about "A player", but I think I am the guy mentioned here. I really enjoyed my lesson and believe it took me to a higher level. I always felt that I have an A game in me, but that I ruin with stupid mistakes and half-assed effort on a lot of shots. Scott spent a lot of time with me working on my pre-shot routine, drilling into me what things to avoid in the stroking process, and how to think my way through a rack. This really provided the difference. My tournament was an invitational affair that my APA league operator hosts every season for the players with the best win % in each division. This one was limited to the 5-7 Skill levels. There was at least one player of "A" caliber (not me). In the APA handicap system, this was still a tough field, but not a large one. I just thought my way through every shot the way I went through it with Scott. Interesting thing: looking back, I found that at the end of the day I was remarkably stress free-like the whole tournament didn't really take a lot out of me. Usually, I feel like I imagine a marathon runner feeling after running-totally spent and mentally dead. Not this time. Strange. Great experience overall. I HIGHLY recommend spending time with Scott.
