the davis blank is exceptional, bryan mordt's conversion is spot on, what am i missing
any shop in town will retail at no less than $1,000.00 dollars

i'm beginning to doubt my own sanity
someone please walk me through this, davis blank, african padauk into honduran cocobolo, 2 custom shafts w moori medium tips
at what price do i negociate, have i really over valued my merchandise?

Good Question...

That's a beautiful cue....
I held that particular cue in my hands. Since you asked....IMHO....that padauk is really different - its unconventional , and thats not necessarily bad but i think will only appeal to a certain buyer. Guys that like maple and ebony cues are not gonna want a padauk cue...I think there is a reason so many cues are ebony into maple...we love em!

thanks mr parenti

let's see if this make sense.
no one wants the cue at retail, i agree, so i placed Make Offer.

i'll drop to $900.00 w free shipping and paypal accepted.
$900.00 Shipped U.S.A.

there's only a couple of bumps left before local market next week

That is the blank I sold about 6 months ago on AZB. I personally bought the blank from John at his house and had it for almost a year trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it design wise, and with whom.

But while "thinking" about it I bought a few more cues and thus sold the blank.....

It came out PERFECT though, just like I did NOT imagine :)

I wish I could comment on the cue, other than BCM's reputation speaks for itself, but the blank was a Davis and it was awesome, thus why I picked it... the nice thing is you will not find many or any for that matter, with this wood combo and veneers......

PS: what is the pin size... I know it is 3/8-10, but what about the thread diameter.... is it identical to an OB 3/8-10 pin ?? Just a standard thread diameter, and not some kooky size like a Carmeli ?? heck, I might have to buy this back... how funny would that be???

3/8ths x 10 modified pin, best modification to come along in years, don't know who engineered this?

that's honduran cocobolo up front in the nose of cue and african padauk makes up the cue body.
it is pure player, this would be a perfect sleeper cue.
its hit and response is more, much more than you'd expect

800bucks for the Davis conversion by BCM is a ridiculous price...

My math suck but say the blank cost about 400bucks, and new shafts cost 150 each, that leaves 100 for completing the cue with ringwork, wrap and finishing??? How much does a normal refinishing cost these days to begin with?
If i don't already have a Davis blank cue i would be buying this cue at your idiot proof price...

You are correct about the price being rediculously low, but there is no "wrap" on this one!!!

Bump for the best deal on AZ right now.....
