Here is my John Davis conversion converted by a local cue repair shop in my country.
I bought two full-spliced blanks from Mr. Davis and I have to say Mr. Davis makes awesome veneered, full-spliced blanks. The craftsmanship is top notch. Also Mr. and Mrs. Davis are very nice to deal with. I had a great experience doing business with them.
The cue plays great, hits solid and stiff. The power delivered exactly while hitting and I really enjoy it.

The blanks I bought:

Alright....I'm sold....How do I get in contact with John Davis for the blanks? and who finished yours and where is he located?

PM if needed.

Thanks,
John

Very nice work by both parties.
The design came out very well...Was it your design?

Hope you enjoy the cue.

Very-very nice job indeed - both on the blank and on the final cue! The forearm looks fantastic!!

Ebony cue

Martin-

Have you had anything done to the ebony full splice cue? I would love to see pics of it completed. Both cues are really beautiful.

Thanks Myron. I had it converted base on my design and specification. Not a fancy design but I really enjoy the hitting.:)

Thanks,

I'll take a look at this cue before I go to bed... maybe I'll dream that I'm playing with it or just holding it in my hands... This cue is... alright, I'm speechless...

Those blanks look very nice, clean look. I have several John Davis conversion cues. i've been playing with one made by Jerry Rauenzahn, it is really a good player, and I use it with a lot of confidence. I bought 2-blanks with ebony forearms, and the second one that is just sitting here is perfect. Chris Byrne has the first one and he says that the wood is not moving at all as he turns it down. It should be beautiful when it is done, I went all out on that one. I can't decide on how to design the ivory inlays, I have no artistic ability. Any ideas?
