Hi Guys,
Here's a simple traditional full splice conversion by me on the John Davis blank. The cue butt weight in at about 16.8 oz and the shaft on this cue is 4.4 oz. The pin is 5/16-14 with an ivory joint collar. The construction is fairly basic, I have a insert that is thread on the solid ivory and wood and the pin sit on the insert and is drill directly into the wood. This give a very unique feel and sound when the ball is hit...very sweet and clean. The is the only cue that I can say plays as good my Joel Weinstock. The shaft is a near perfect tight straight grain shaft with curls that glimmer in the light. It has no ferrule and is installed with a Hard Molavia for super hit and play. This is the first time, I installed insert on insert for accuracy and it plays great. The point on John blanks came out perfectly even. Here's the pics...let me know what you think.
