John Davis/Tim Prince collaboration

I received this cue just before Christmas and couldn't be happier with it. It is a Davis-Prince cue that is a collaboration between John Davis and Tim Prince.

First of all, this is my third cue that is built from a JOhn Davis blank and I don't think the firmness of a full-spliced cue can be replicated.

Secondly, John Davis is the only cuemaker I've seen who's full spliced cues have even points that come to a point at the top and bottom of the points. The bottom of the points are normally squared off or covered by a wrap.

Tim Prince finished the cue and did an excellent job in executing an elegant, simple well-playing cue. No fancy inlays here, although Tim's inlays are second to none. Just a Hoppe ring, and two firm playing shafts.

The shafts pictured are one of the original shafts and a 3/8x10 Predator shaft.

This cue plays phenomenal and is not for sale.
