I don't know the specific weight, but, they are heavy. They are very nice,,, but very heavy indeed.

PM DEACON here on AZ....he deals in Hager cases regularly and may be able to provide you the info you are looking for.

I have a 1x2 and it's pretty heavy compared to other 1x2's, but they are very nice cases.

You can message DEACON, or go to Johns website jwhager.com, great guy to deal with, and im telling you the cases are the nuts, they are a bit heavy, but I like that in a case, and the built in extensions come in handy when you need it. If you go to the site, and email john or call him, tell him Chris from Chicago says hello.

My 2x4 weights about 8 1/2 lbs empty and 10 with a 2 cues and 3 shafts. This was weighed on a bathroom scale but it will give you a ball park guesstimate.

The case also has the 2 pouches.

One of my team mates lifted it to move it and asked if I was carrying my weight set in it. It is heavy but well made.

The tubes come out and protect the cue very well. They have a Chinese hand cuff type insert that grabs the cue and keeps it secure. I don't find the need for JP's. The Hagen cue extender is basically the same thing. I will sometimes use one to them as an extender. The case will stand up on its own without having to lean against something. The only draw back is that the butt has to be inserted joint down and the shafts joint up. The butt can be inserted in first but it only goes down about 1/2 of the tube. This makes it a little difficult to carry on your back with the cues assembled when moving around during a tournament. The main body of the case is solid injected plastic that has 7 holes. 6 are for the inserts and 1 for the "locking" device. The base is flat plastic that is formed with the main body and shaped like the lid. The pouches and carying straps are leather and the lid is solid wood. Everything is attached to the body by elastic cord. You may be able to remove any of the pouches and straps but it doesn't look that easy to do. The pouches have double zippers that run along the edge to allow the pouches to fully open for easy access.

If you are concerned about weight than this is not the case to buy. If you want protection I don't think you could find one any better.
