Pool in the High Desert

Sure looks like we are in for a treat here in Victorville, Ca. Fantastic equipment, good added money, and some known players, all equals a great weekend in May. I don't play but I will go anywhere to watch any game played with a cue. Billiards, Pool, Snooker, it's all good. And incidentally we should all support any of the cue sports, what's good for one is good for all.
 
We are really excited about this tournament. Hopefully we get a full field of 64players. John will be in town that whole week between Vegas and Memorial Day looking to play. Anybody interested can contact Gary at 909-856-1762.

Anyone who wants to sign up early can contact us at 760-951-2800 after 4:00 P.M. daily and we can do a credit card over the phone. Remember the field is limited to 64 players.

While watching Chris Bartram & John Schmidt going at the 10 ahead,I had a little talk with Vicki & Gary a few nights ago at the TAR Bar. They seem like a very nice couple. I will definitely try to make it out there this coming weekend.

Hello Vicki,

Sounds like fun, I'll be heading up there for this. I hope you don't mind, I sent an email out to everybody on my distribution list for this event to let everybody know what's happening this weekend. I have quite a few people on my Email List. Hopefully, we see a good size field. See ya in a few days.
 
To the guy who wants to know, we have 15 gold crown iii's 1 gold crown iv, a 6 x 12, a 3 cushion table and 4 valley bar boxes.

Roger thanks for getting that out to your guys for me. We would love to have a full feild of 64 players.

We want to thank everyone for coming out and supporting our event. Everything went very well. There were 43 players. The results are as follows:

1st John Schmidt $1000.00
2nd Brian Parks $700.00
3rd Nick Spano $500.00
4th Ramin $350.00
5-6th Fach Garcia $200.00
Greg Harada $200.00
7-8th Sy $100.00
Dave Hemmah $100.00
9-12th CJ $50.00
Max Eberle $50.00
Mark Whitehead $50.00
Jason Bryan $50.00

The finals was a single race to 10 with John winning 10-6.
There was some really terrific pool and everyone had a good time.

We are planning to do a similar tournament on Saturday November 28,2009. Mark your calendars and hopefully we will have an even better event then.

Thanks Gary and Vicky for a great tournament! Wish I didn't have to run into Max or maybe I get 9-12th. Anyway I guess 13-16th isnt bad for a guy that doesn't play anymore. Love you guys, Mark Kendall/Great White
