I gave John Showman a deposit on a cue that was supposed to be built in 5 years.

It is now been 6 1/2 years. I have tried to contact via AZBILLIARDS, EMAIL, and HIS PHONE (now disconnected). I have asked a couple contacts on here to pass along my information to contact. I have not recieved any response.

I would like to discuss that I have moved and no longer at my previous address. I would like to discuss the schedule of getting my promised cue deliverered.

If this continues, I will be forced to do things I would prefer to avoid.

My wife case log is gonna full if these things keep happening More cues and Rolexes for me....YES!

6 1/2 years wait for a 5 year estimate?....seems reasonable, to me at least...I've been waiting MUCH MUCH longer for a couple cues that were estimated 3 1/2 years from other makers....You should feel lucky! ........... Good Luck!

If 1.5 years late on a cue is now within the acceptable time frame for a cuemaker to deliver a cue... then that is really sad IMO.

If nothing else works, I suggest you send him a letter per snailmail, and ask him to contact you someway.

No one said it was "acceptable" Jamie.....BUT if you want any chance of getting the cue you HAVE to accept it or for sure never get the cue....That said, there are valid factors that could push back a delivery date....Won't know till he talks to John....

Showman is one of the guys I have never delt with but if you dont make any progress soon let me know. I may take a trip to FL in the near future and if its not way out of the way I could drop him a letter for you or possibly get him your information.
