I believe she also lost a couple matches during the group stages before the final brackets.

Hope she has a plan for professional
education....because pool especially for women goes nowhere.
I've heard that many of the guys from HOB now play at the Libertad Soccer Club on Olympic right next to Taco's Por Favor. I haven't been in there in a while though, but I've heard they upgraded the tables.
yup that’s all true I pop in there here and there for some action. Owner is a super nice old Mexican 3 vision player Jose, cheap beer, cheap table time, great spot overall. Very different vibe from hob though
You could always get a one pocket game in that room.

Good ole days.
Now pool halls are an attraction and its bowling prices. Not sure when the last time you guys bowled but it could be a $100 night for a bowler. OF course they have their leagues they play in.
Terrible action there. That room had the highest % of nut hunters of any pool room ever. Sure play 1P Rich even and get robbed.
It’s so bad there I ran a social experiment. I offered 6/5 on coin flips. Let a guy flip the coin AND call it. Guaranteed losing $ for me. I couldn’t ever get anyone there to take that action. Absolute nut low.
I have more nit stories from that room than any room over the past 40 years I spent anytime in.
To be clear, yes there are some great guys in that room. Some are friends. But when it comes to action-which was my type of pool, it was the worst.

That just shocks me. The locksmiths and nut hunters finally got their situation and couldn’t pull the trigger.
It was truly amazing. I offered that action several times there over the course of a few months/ I’ll bet $25 to your $20. Wasn’t high rolling anyone Hell that’s 5/4 even worse for me! Zero takers. “Stop when you like” that was my enhanced offer. That way they have complete control to who ever was betting and a price and I wasn’t touching the coin. I knew a guy that would win 100% of his coin flips if you let him flip and catch it. It looked like he was flipping it, but actually he just wobbled it in the air. He would catch it, slap it against that back of his other hand and say "call it!". He knew what it was and if you called it correct, he could flip the coin over in his palm. He won every break against me for years until he finally showed me what he was doing. He tried to tech me, but I could never do it.Jeez, they must have been scared to death of you! Um, Heck no! I would rather play bar box 8 ball on a valley with half the cloth missing, while shooting with a broomstick, while listening to elevator music, than have to play a long set of nine ball.
