joint pin thread

What thread does Josey cues use??

I want to clean up a shaft and I don't have the lathe pin to hold it. I quickly looked at it and assumed that it was 3/8-10 but that pin doesn't go in more that 1/2 thread.

You'er right ... I should own one.

As far as I can find out, the unilock radial has 7.637 threads per inch. I don't think that thread gauge would help anyway.

Personally, I wouldn't use something so uncommon.... but that is just me.

Uni-Loc radial pins is NOT UNCOMMON.
It is one of the most popular joint pins .
You don't even need a thread pitch to tell it's radial and not a 3/8 10 V threads.
The threads are RADIAL.
You have V threads, you have Acme threads and you have radials.
NONE of them are uncommon these days .
