This is a very nice young man. Well mannered and comes from a very nice family. He has a lot of talent, and with training can be a good pro.
Nice job Jonathan.

Congratulations Jonathon Castillo

It's great to see such young and talented players such as Jonathon and Taylor getting the recognition they deserve and the right start on the path to pool success.
I can say with great certainty that Kwikfire made a great choice when they chose Jonathon to represent their product and their company.
I have had the pleasure of meeting this nice young man on several occasions at the SuperBilliardsExpo and also know the people at Kwikfire and know that they are a good match.

Keep up the good work Jonathon!!!!!!! Hechale Ganas.

Thanks very much!

All,

Thank you very much for saying such nice things about Jonathan!

Jonathan's doing well - he played in two tournaments this past weekend, a local handicapped and a Blaze tour stop, and shot well in both.

We're very excited and happy about the opportunity he's been given by Kelly, Val, and Kwikfire cues. We're looking forward to meeting up with them again and with Taylor and her family as well. Taylor is just a delightful young girl as well as being a darn good little shooter.

Thank you again!

R, M, & J

PS - CaLeGo - I adore the cigarette case! M

Team Castillo,

You have to be extremely proud of the fine young man your raising, I wish for him much happiness and success.

Congratulations to Jonathan. This is GREAT news to see younger talent receive opportunities like this. I wish him the very best. :)

BTW, did you receive a package that I sent to you via Federal Express last year from Keith McCready?

Hi Jam!

Yes, we did, and thank you very much. I apologize for not contacting you at the time! The picture is right up there in the living room next to Jonathan's school pics. :)

I haven't been on the forums since around that time last year, but I did wonder if you'd make the connection between this thread and the one I posted after the Blaze final last year. It's nice to hear from you!

The kid is all class... and he has great parental guidance.

JV

I see this lil gent at all the tournys, and let me tell you always very respectful. "J" always makes his way through the crowd to say hello to me, not to mention his parents, they also do the same. We have around two or three young boys around my area that have "What It Takes", but wow....they are some lil wise guys already. Talkin out of turn, disrespecting other players, and gambling in games they cant win because of threre big ego. Lil "J" does not follow this crew and hope he never does. I love this kid and hope he goes very far in this wonderful game we call pool.......:D

Thank You

Thanks very much for these posts - it's very nice to hear!

Jonathan has played in four tournaments recently and has played well in each of them. We're proud and happy. :)

Thanks,
M & R

Well, nothing like throwing out a little teaser.

I believe, I will be in town tomorrow night, I need to clear up the cob-webs from last week's play - I was playing so badly I let my frustrations get the best of me and Spanky got the blunt of it, I guess I owe him an apology.

We all have bad days. I can't shoot since my car accident. Spanky has matured(game) since last year. He impressed me the last couple of days.
He played a road player (Shane) 2 races to 13 and 12 with 3 on the wire on table 5. He won the 1st set and should have won the second. It got to hill hill and Shane breaks and the 9 sits deep in the corner pocket. He needs to run to the 6 to play a combo on the 9 , but dogs it. Spanky makes the 6 and banks the 7 into the 9. 9 pops out of the pocket. they broke even.

Up at masters wed. Ginky and Spanky match up against Shane & Bucky in scotch doubles 10 ball. Ginky & Spanky are dogging it and are down 5-1.
The come back and win 9-7. Some great shooting.
Shane matches up against Spanky for some bigger cheese action, 3 on 13 10 ball. Spanish contingency is betting heavily on Spanky (Side action).
Spanky plays real good nad takes it down 13-8.

Abbassi,
I don't want to turn this thread into something other than what is was meant for; that being Jonathan Castillo, so I'll give you a call later.

Jonathons New Cue Case

Your quite welcome for the cigarette case and look forward to seeing much more of Jonathon in the winners circle.
Please give me a call so that we can work out the details on Jonathon's case. I'm currently working on some right now and would like to include Jonathon's in them.
I'm truly honored that he will be carrying one of my cue cases.

Thank You

Does anybody know if Jonathan is still playing? I met him years ago and he was very talented at a young age. Very respectful. I was just wondering how his game has progressed.
