Noticed that Jorgen Sandman resigned , anyone out there ever attend his PAT system classes? If so what exactly are they , do they set up shots on a pool table and ask you to execute them, something like artistic billiards?

what do you mean resigned? Doesn't he teach instructors any longer as he used to do? Jorgen is one of PAT creators along with Ralph Eckert, and these two are European pocket billiards federation head coaches (instructors). So what exactly resignation do you mean?
As for PAT testing, I believe every PAT instructor is entitled to run it. There is a set of shots to be made (average of 3 attempts calculated) and positions to be run. Then you get your score and see what level it matches.
Pretty nice comparative system. Though I know some people who play better than they perform the test. Must be gambling nature of those people, lol.

Ok - lets clarify it on the home page of Azbilliards it says he resigned form th WCBS - World Confederation Of Billiard Sport due to health considerations. Was refering to that.

The Pat system is a series of shots you execute and track how many times you do the shot successfully. For example, you might have a pattern of balls that you try to make in order. You do this pattern three times and write down your score. There are four books in the series. Start book consists of shots that a d and c player should be able to master with a little practice. Each book gets harder. The last book consists of drills and shots are A players and pros. On youtube there are some drills being done by Thorsten Hohman. They are follow drills. The complete set sells for $150.

Thorsten Hohmann has the books is authorized/trained to give the test, try emailing him at thorstenhohmann@gmail.com . Taking the test is a lot of fun, 3 of us were given it at the same time and it was interesting and competitive that way. Gives you plenty to work on and shows any gaps in your offense, it definitely helped out my game and will continue to do so since I still do the drills from time to time.
