Hi,

I am a dealer for Joseph Picone White Diamond tips and sell them on Ebay like crazy.. So I figured I'd offer them here to the AZ community for a better price than on Ebay... Price listed is for shipping to US (Outside US, PM me for additional costs)

If you are familiar with White Diamonds, nuff said then, as you already know what their about and how good they are....

If you are not familiar with White Diamond tips, they are EXCELLENT Jump/Break tips and hold chalk excellent as well, just ask a player who is using one. Below is a description of them from Mr Picone himself:

From the studio of Joseph Picone the, "Picone White Diamond" tip is one of the real secrets for a top performing jump cue or break cue. Picone White Diamond tips are a multi-layered tip. Made from a specially selected fiber, they go through an 11 step process before becoming a finished tip. Each tip is inspected before packaging to the insure you the highest quality.

What is the difference in the "Picone White Diamond tip"?

* The "Picone White Diamond tip" is not a phenolic tip. Phenolic resins are hard and brittle and although they do make the ball jump as well as break hard, can be difficult to glue and very prone to miscues.

* The "Picone White Diamond tip" reduces miss-cues, to a minimum. Takes and holds chalk very well.

* It allows you to put english on the cue ball. You can jump with english, stop the cue ball, even drawing it back.

* When used for the break or jump-cue, gone is the glass breaking sound and fear of miscue.

* Tips can be glued on with most common Super-Gels or epoxies, and are much less prone to popping off.

* They are easily installed even with standard cue repair tools, you do not need a lathe. It is best to use a tip close to the size of the shaft for easier installation. If you have no experience with tip installation though, it is still best left to the professional .

* They shape and scuff easily with sand paper and are extra thick and long lasting.

* No need to change your ferrule and because the tip is layered, it will not chip, fracture or split as is common with tip-ferrule combos made from common phenolic rod.

* The Picone White Diamond tip is not harmful to balls or equipment

You mention they are not phenolic resin. So what are they?

That sound about right?

I do not advertise it, but for those that do not know, I offer tip installation and have quite a few AZ members from all around the counrty that send me their shaft to install tip, and other various shaft services, including shaft corrections (shaft straightening, from slight 'roll-out' to full blown warped shafts... Please PM me with any questions...)..

I do not advertise this because quite honestly I am a one man operation, and I have plenty of work to keep me busy (I have a minimum of 4 different leagues, 14 teams, and hundreds of local players that play in or out of my place, and am really the only game in town for small repairs and such)... But I read the posts of members who just simply do not have anyone in their area who offers such things (which really surprises me) and have no where to turn for something as simple as a quality tip install and at a fair price, and feel I should at least offer them an avenue to turn to if they do not have anywhere locally to get things repaired..

I charge $12 for an install plus the price of the tip if bought from me, or $15 if you already have a tip to put on. Return shipping is usually around $6-$12, depending on the location..
Most times I will get the tip installed the same day and shipped back out that day, or first thing the next morning..

Shaft corrections are priced between $15 for a simple 'roll-out' correction, or up to $40 for a fixable warped shaft (shaft reconditioning would be required, and is included in the price for something like this..)..
Shipping prices are the same as above, but corrections need at least a full day to 3 days, depending on what needs done (I need time to make sure the correction takes hold and doesn't revert back at all before I send it back out...).

Thanks all, and Merry Christmas!
