That guy John Hill they showed, thats his brother in law. "Big JOhn" I know him very well. Actually known him since before I started really playing. I was just a bar table banger playing on little tables at the bar near my house. I was just a pretty good player with no clue about custom cues or anything else. I could just make balls. John was the bouncer and the only player there that could beat me with any frequency. God was I naive.

That's a really nice video about a really first rate cuemaker and person.. Attached --hopefully-- is a picture of my two Josey cues. I usually play with the sp, and I get compliments frequently about this cue.
Keith and Sherry are great to work with.

How cool is Nick Varner pointing out the positive things about a cuemakers cues when he has (although a lower line) cues to sell himself??

That's what i'm saying. that part with Nick Varner saying all that good stuff is hard to beat!
i mean i've heard everyone that's owned a josey cue say how well it plays but to hear Nick Varner say it is the nuts
i have been to keith's shop and out to dinner with him and his wife. not only is he a great cue maker, but a class act all the way as a person too. he goes the extra mile for every single customer. great video.
