What can I say. These turned out amazing.
I moved to StL 10+ years ago and one of the first things I did was find a place to shoot pool. Turns out that there weren't that many, and as I later learned, what was once a hot bed of action, quickly dried up once the casinos started rolling in. Fortunately, I live close to Cue & Cushion and that's where I heard about Josh and eventually met him. As many of you know, he is as genuine of a person as you can find.
we started talking years ago about a project. but as many projects go, it stalled on numerous occasions because of things on my end. But eventually, we landed on a design and he got working.
I have two sons and I wanted to get them something that embodied aspects of me. I do not think that they will ever appreciate the nuances of how to make the perfect hit, run a rack of balls, kick 2 rails, etc. but they do know how deeply I value pool and cuemaking. I also wanted the cues to embody our korean heritage in a tasteful way.
I cannot thank Josh enough about how beautiful they are and how amazing they hit. His cues tend to feel fuller than how much they actually weigh due to their slightly forward balance. The Thoroughbread tips he chose provide the crispiest knocks I've ever had. And this is consistent between both cues.
I am grateful to have these in our family.
Thank you Josh.
