What can I say. These turned out amazing.

I moved to StL 10+ years ago and one of the first things I did was find a place to shoot pool. Turns out that there weren't that many, and as I later learned, what was once a hot bed of action, quickly dried up once the casinos started rolling in. Fortunately, I live close to Cue & Cushion and that's where I heard about Josh and eventually met him. As many of you know, he is as genuine of a person as you can find.

we started talking years ago about a project. but as many projects go, it stalled on numerous occasions because of things on my end. But eventually, we landed on a design and he got working.

I have two sons and I wanted to get them something that embodied aspects of me. I do not think that they will ever appreciate the nuances of how to make the perfect hit, run a rack of balls, kick 2 rails, etc. but they do know how deeply I value pool and cuemaking. I also wanted the cues to embody our korean heritage in a tasteful way.

I cannot thank Josh enough about how beautiful they are and how amazing they hit. His cues tend to feel fuller than how much they actually weigh due to their slightly forward balance. The Thoroughbread tips he chose provide the crispiest knocks I've ever had. And this is consistent between both cues.

I am grateful to have these in our family.
Thank you Josh.

Cue and Cushion is my daily spot. Lets meet up and play some....and let me buy one of these beauties! :) I've been to Josh's shop plenty of times and I've owned several of his plain janes (brand new ones come available now and then) but I'm waiting on my "custom". Whenever that happens, it will be great. I'm in no rush.

Josh has a machine the size of a short school bus in his shop that cuts out microscopic pieces.....it's wild. He is a talented fella.

I have Cody Cash doing the exact same thing but using a set of 1930's Brunswick 26.5's as the forearm.

The goal was to build a set of identical Father/Son cues that could continue to be passed down over time.

I love Josh, he is truly one of the nicest makers I have ever met, and one of the center piece cues in my collection is from him. The one thing I miss the most about moving out of KC is no longer getting to see Josh, Cody and Brian Parks on the weekends at tournaments or just dropping by their shops to shoot the shit.

But on the positive side I get to hang out with Scott Gilmore with occasional trips to Richard Blacks house to "kiss the ring" of the GOAT!
