Damn cool cue.

Here's a somewhat fancy Danny Janes build ~ Bill Stroud believes it was built around 1974-75
Very nice old Joss. Can you tell us who did the refinish?
All the best,
WW

Is it the second of this model, Doc? Nice cue.
All the best,
WW
I believe it is. That's the Model 2 from the Diamond Series.
The catalog shows a thin black ring between the butt cap and the butt sleeve that mine does not have. I expect that's just a minor variation and that this cue is actually that model.

The wrap on the cue is filthy. It is a spec wrap if you look close in person...I would have to clean it to see exactly, but it isn't a black wrap.
Get out the water and bleach, Doc. And go slow. You'll be able to tell what kind of wrap it is.
All the best,
WW
Finally got a chance to lay them all out for a photo op.
Right to left:
- My first Joss, bought in 1983. Bill Stroud replaced ivory joint & cleaned it up for me about 10 years ago. https://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?p=2848545#post2848545
- Picked this up at SBE about 3 years ago. Dan Janes engraved new logo for me.
- Last two I picked up last year.
