When it asks for user name and password, does it mean the ones for Az or a new one?
I put irock in as user name and then tried it again and it said that name was taken, it was probably me when I was unsuccessful signing up.
I will be glad to help you. Ustream is not directly tied to AZ; therefore, you must
sign up thereat in order to view. Most peeps use the same user name there as what they use here. Some must change their name because it is already being used there by someone else. If this in fact turns out to be the case after following the steps here, I recommend you marry-up your user name with AZ so the peeps will readily recognize you as a fellow member. Something like irock@AZ (I like that better anyway) would do the trick! OK -- lets get irock@AZ a-rocking on ustream
You need to go to
ustream [<---click here] where you will find the
sign up in the
upper right hand corner. Click it and complete the easy
new account info at left. Initially, use irock. If it still comes back as "name taken" then start over and use irock@AZ or whatever name you choose. Make certain that you use a password that you won't forget and that your email address is the one you use most often. Be careful with the
verification test as they are hard to read sometimes and you could be trying to sign up over and over again -- not fun. Now read (or not
)the
Terms of Use and
Privacy Policy. Once done, go back and click the box to the left of
I Agree. Done! Pretty much a no brainer really!
Not all pool streams are on ustream -- they are all over the net. Make yourself familiar with the AZ Home Page as that is where both the
Streamer Central and
Simonis Streaming Guide are located. It is well maintained unlike other pool sites. Also, on that page you will notice
FORUMS at the top (centered). Click that and make yourself aware of the
Tournament Announcements,
The Action Room, and
Live Stream areas as ofttimes there is stuff happening there that are not on the Home Page. Impromptu streaming notifications are often announced in the
Main Forum Area as that is the one folks view most often.
Before I forget -- when you are watching streams on ustream that you really like, click the
follow button so, when going into your
Dashboard (@ ustream) they will appear "when" they are live!
