Josswest Scam on ebay

The pics look familiar - I think CeeBee (Charlie Bond) took the pics. I agree, it's a scam.

I think we've got enough to go on. I'll report it.

Yep, we debated over this cue before. Not necessarily the seller but the authenticity of the cue. Joss West w/Pink ivory? Rare. And especially the rings. None of them match. A-B kinda match, but C doesn't. And D-E mostly match, but not with Bill's usual perfection.
I wouldn't touch it.

I took a quick look at the threads and didn't see this, so I apologize if someone already questioned this auction. I asked the seller for a new full length pic of the cue (because these pictures look awfully familiar to me), but haven't heard back yet. And it's a 3 day listing from a seller with no feedback. Scam??

Scott, those pictures look real familiar to me since I took them when I owned that JW cue. I traded that cue to a man I know in Minnesota for a cue he had and some cash. He listed the cue on Erik Lee's web site and Erik used my pictures also. I don't know who this seller is on ebay, but he's using the same pictures I took of the cue when I owned it. I think it's definately a scam.

Just in case anyone doubts that I took the pictures of the JW on ebay here are a few more I took of the cue when I owned it. I got rid of the cue because it had an acme joint pin and my 5/16x14 predator shafts wouldn’t work on that odd thread. When I bought the cue it never occurred to me that there are different types of 5/16x14 joint pins. I thought they were all the same, but I’m not a cue maker or a machinist so I guess I wouldn’t be expected to know that before I bought the cue.

His boycott of the used cues lasted about 2 days. I e-mailed him about this.
