July in Tucson? What the hell is wrong with them? Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, plenty of water, and a white car with cloth seats...

Seriously though, U of A is a great venue. I love that place. I learned to play in the student union.

Lol ya its a little hot but in my opinion it has been a better location then others, the tables play great there too

It's in Arizona... unless someone wants to fork over a few grand for me to fly and stay there. ;)

Tanner,
I understand the few grand to get to Arizona. Its crazy what the plane flight is from Missoula MT to Phoenix. But there is a new sheriff --- airline in town --- doing flights from Missoula to Mesa for somewhere around $100 one way (no frills and sometimes you wait 5-6 hours at airport) ---- its Allegient Airlines. See if they are running a flight from SD to Mesa or Vegas (thats what they started first - trying to get us who are knee deep in snow to sunny Vegas to spend $$ in casinos). You could probably get to Tucson from Vegas - or drive from Mesa.

Good luck to you all going to Tucson. And make sure you have a good sun block, a hat, and drink plenty of WATER. Its a "dry heat" but still brutal if you aren't used to it.:)

Good luck, Tanner. Hope you can make it. Hard to believe, Chad Behnke, is still just a 12 year old. He's got to be the favorite in that age bracket.

Kid can shoot. I saw him play 3 or 4 years ago and he could shoot. Next SVB?

Oh and don't forget to bring an umbrella! Two years ago when I went there for the ACUI/Jr. Nationals, there was a monsoon. All of a sudden, it just started pouring harder than I've ever seen anywhere. The streets were flooded within 20 minutes, and we were in shorts and t-shirts:eek: . That was crazy!

Here are some pics from AZ 2006:

Hi Hustler08. I am so happy it helped you out (Kim is a sweetheart, but wasn't it a bit late to call? yikes!)- best of luck to you at the qualifiers. As mentioned, there will be a write-up on the home page tonight or tomorrow with more details for those of you that are interested.
