Is there a preferred weight for ''up close'' hoppers?
First of all, 6 to 8 inches isn't really all that close.Anyone Know the preferred brand to jump over a ball REAL close? 6-8''
Back in the day we used to use our shaft. I think I was good at about 1/2"Ok 1''...

? meaning, he liked his more/or yours that he tried out?Thorsten said he uses a Predator Air Rush.
I let him try my Alex Brick dymondwood jumper and he nearly jumped over the object ball!
Neither, just that he didn't expect it to jump so easily? meaning, he liked his more/or yours that he tried out?
I am not familiar with the Air Rush, never used one and know nothing about it. I had no idea what my Lomax weighed, although I have been using it for years now, saw this thread and weighed it just to add some info. I like my Lomax mainly because I am used to it, performs well for me, but I am sure the same is true if you got used to other brands.Thx 4 Rail.
And agent, how do these specs compare to Predator Air Rush?

This thread made me think about Smokey. Anyone remember him? I think he was from Austin, don't remember his real name. That guy was super cool and talkative. He was the world's best shaft jumper, or so he claimed. I witnessed it often. He'd regularly jump the stack playing one hole. He was deadly with shaft jumpingBack in the day we used to use our shaft. I think I was good at about 1/2", so yes as light as possible.
