June 2nd $50 9ball Waco,TX

Am I still elgible to play, Ray?

Don't know if you heard about my fluke finish in the last Fast Eddie's event but it only goes to show that sun shines on a dog's butt every once in a while.

Since I've played in two of your events and haven't hit the money, let me know.

Congratulation on a great finish! Unfortunately you are "out" on your record Stones. I can put you to council if you would like.

Please do as I really like playing in your events. Don't get to play in many since I'm running most of them. LOL

One decent finish in fifteen years. What a fluke!

As Bob Dylan would say, "and it's a 1,2, 3, what are you fightin for?

Lewis...How'd your team end up finishing in Vegas? I left the Sin City on Saturday afternoon when you all were playing for 5th place.

Well, we ended up 5-6th and none too happy about it. We had some good matches and some close ones. We just never really jelled and played real well. We all broke horribly and if you can't break on a toy table,,,, you are gonna get beat.

The LA team which put us in the losers bracket broke and ran the 1st five games and in the 2nd round, none of us made a ball on the break and we were down 10-0. We made a move and got in to 10-9, but eventually lost 13-11. My last trip to the BCA. It just ain't worth the time or money.

Be my doubles partner next year?????????

Wow - coming back 10-9 after being down 10-0 is impressive... too bad the breaks weren't working for ya'll. Stiil, 5th is a great finish among all those good teams.

You want to be my doubles partner next year? I don't know if I should give mine up - Royce and I placed 5th in the open out of 437 teams. :) I needed to find a partner at the last minute and who would have known we would have done so well. It was a lot of fun, too!!

AHHH come on. I'll clear it with Tony. Besides, he knows this dog is too old to even bark.

Royce was a pretty happy guy. He should be, you guys did well. Must have been the OB1 shafts?!?!?!?!

It's not Tony you need to clear it with, it's Royce. :)

It was either the OB1 shafts or the OB1 shirts. ;)

Already filling....

This is NOT an open event. You may play if you have not had a 5-6th or better finish in any major tournament. ie Fast Eddies 9Ball Tour, Midwest 9 Ball Tour, Joss Northeast Tour etc….

We have a council to determine eligibility for players that do not play in tournaments or may have had a 5-6th or better finish with extenuating circumstances.

Please call to see if you qualify. To “GET ON THE LIST” you must call when you are leaving your area or mail your entry FEE in early. You must be present at 11:00am PAID OR NOT or any “stand-by” players will be awarded your spot. NO EXCEPTIONS. If you pay ahead and can’t make it by 11:00am and you lose you place to a stand by, you WILL get a full refund.

To pull this off in 1 day we must start ON time.

There will be NO more seeding. All draws will be random!

Here is a link to the Flyer. CLICK HERE

We will be having a $100 entry ring game on Friday June 1st at Shooters on New Road. It is Texas Holdem Style with 1000 in chips issued for your entry. This does include a $10 green fee. Payout has been 1st,2nd,3rd. We have been voting at the players meeting on # of places to pay. There has also been action if you just want to come up and play or watch.

If there is not enough players for the $100 ring game, we will play a smaller $ ring game with who ever shows up.

We will start off in groups of six. The top 2 Hot Dog Eaters from each group will then advance to a single elimination jalapeno eating contest.:D LMAO....

Lewis I think your having mid-life crisis!;) Stick to pool. Leave the eating contests to the college kids.:D

Hope to see you in Odessa!

Ray

ps. ANYONE COMING TO THE TOURNAMENT THIS SATURDAY. CALL SAT MORNING AND LEAVE YOUR NAMES, OR YOU CAN PAY FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE RING GAME @ SHOOTERS ON NEW ROAD.
