I am raffling a very nice almost-new 2008 Doug Patrick cocobolo sneaky. I will use the red powerball number on the first drawing after all spots are filled. Buying multiple slots is fine. Doug Patrick cocobolo sneaky. This cue is about a month and a half old. It is standard 58", weighs 18.5oz (15.2 butt, 3.3 shaft). It has a steel radial pin, wood to wood joint with black collars, although I'm unsure what the exact material is. The shaft is 12.25mm, and has on it a Moori soft tip.
The cue has nice black and maple ringwork at the joint and buttcap. The forearm is a very nice piece of birdseye maple, and the rest is some nice looking cocobolo. The shaft is a very high quality piece of maple.
The only faults to this cue are 1) the shaft has a little bluing, 2) the buttcap has about three very small scrape marks on it. I got one of them to show up in a picture, the other two are way too small to see, and I didn't even know about them until I looked the cue over very closely just now, 3) there is an extremely small (like one-two millimeters) ding in just the finish a few inches up from the buttcap. In the right light one can find it if they're looking close for it, and there's no chance of it showing up in a picture.
All these marks are very, very small, and really I could probably get away without mentioning them, but I share them for completeness, as I know some people out there are as anal as I am about their cues.
I hate to let this cue go, but I have a cheap sneaky for bar use, and a fancier cue on the way for the rest of my play, so this one is the odd man out.
