it'll take a while for you to adjust. who knows though you might like it after a while. honestly i used to like thinner tips.used to think i could be a little more precise. i tend to undercut shots when adjusting to a thicker shaft and over cut the crap out of balls when i use a thinner tipped shaft.

i figure the over under is 7 weeks to be comfortable and about where you are now with your game

i think the adjustment will be the difference in deflection(really squirt) more than size of the shaft
why did you buy a smaller shaft and a ld shaft in the first place??

I think mine took about a month and a half to get back to where I was. Once I stopped trying to get to much out of it and over thinking the shots I played a lot better. Just play with it how you normally would for a while and then make any adjustments for english with the smaller tip size.

one of my friends recommended me get one
Get new friends:smile:just kidding.Once it becomes annoying to you and not pleasant to adjust
to,its better to move on and save your sanity.
I've always been a firm believer that a cue should blend to your style of play.
Once you have to change your entire game and mindset to blend with with your cue,
then imo you have the wrong cue or shaft.Goodluck

This is the best advice that's been given.

The easiest way to adjust to it is to not do anything special. Just play with it and you will adjust to the difference in cue ball squirt.

A lot of people don't realize that we have to adjust for any cue change. Whether it be LD or not, it's still different. LD is the same adjustment, it's just a little bigger of a difference.

Once your brain adjust automatically, you won't know the difference other than your misses will go in a little more often.
