Only the second cue I've made, so go easy on me. Weighs in at 19.2 oz. Hopefully it will hit well so that it doesn't end up in my fireplace.

Cue

The cue looks great, very nice woodgrain and contrast. The beauty of the wood really comes through.

absolutly lovely woodcombinations and figures.
hope u dont mind i save the picture, and use it as my screenbackground.!

sweeeeeeeet !. How does it play?

Nice cue!
I would prolly have made the woodgrain of the rings to match line up with the grain pattern of the forearm and the buttsleeve... which means cutting it from the spot where the rings should be to create an illussion.... but still a very nice cue! Keep em coming

Nice looking cue you made there Tony, pm sent for question.

I don't really have anything bad to say about this cue at all. Nice wood selection, ringwork, etc. If all of the cues you end up building are as nice as this, I think you have a future. In my opinion, outside of playability, which is obviously a big issue, this cue is as nice or nicer than most of the cues offered for sale by other cuemakers on this forum. Only my opinion.

That's a great looking cue. Generally I'm not a fan of large ring work like that, but it seems to work with the cocobolo matching up with the rest of the cue...

Very nice, indeed.
...So how does it play? :D

Good looking cue! That's some really nice cocobolo and curly maple, and I like the ringwork. How does it play?

Looks nice...lots of movement in the forearm 'bolo.

Thanks for all of the compliments. As for how it hits, I should find out later today.

is that an ivory joint?

No, White Phenolic

A couple people asked if I was interested in selling it. I wasn't planning on selling it. I posted it to get some feedback, both positive and negative. This came out better than I expected, so it was well received. We'll see how the next mess I post fares. I'm still struggling with my veneer work. Have trashed I don't know how many attempts so far.
