Hey, I can hit a lot of rails that way too, at least on my table I can, but only on one side  ;)

Dave, has a table named Eileen

OK, tried the dollar-bill shot (thanks to Bob et al who posted wei routes and articles) .... 7 and a sore elbow for me tonight ... have to try this shot on a fast table next time at the hall.

Dave, boom-boom :D

Cowards! That's the kind of table I learned to play on. The one ball goes easily in the side if you have any speed control. Shoot spot shots by aiming full at the spotted ball. Play straight-ins at the right speed so the curve on the cue ball cuts the ball enough to compensate for the curve of the object ball. A flat table is too easy.

When I was a C player back in 86 at ferronis in modesto where Kim Davenport came up, a guy showed me how to hit 9 on a billiard table with Granito cloth, i cant remember the shot now, but back then it was a hanger on that table-the rails were a bit dead too so I'm sure more would have been possible.
