Thats a nice basic cue you got bud, congrats! The other stuff is not necessary, as long as you're happy with how it plays for you. I, too, will have gone back to a basic cue once I receive it back from R. Howard, though I still have a nice 4 pointed ebony cue that gets used now while I wait for it. I have another basic cue on the way with ivory ferrules, I can barely wait to receive that but I know it'll be worth it

It ain't that hard ... I started out playing pool with Predator cue and 314 shaft and later on changed to hard maple shaft. Don't get me wrong I still prefer fairly stiff shape but now, I'm so used to stiff hard maple shaft, I can't make a ball with 314 shaft.

its a brandnew wrapless barry cameron cue with two shafts. both with ivory ferrule and moori tips. wood to wood joint with 3/8x10 pin.it weighs around 19oz.
