Just In from Chicago Attorneys Regarding YOUR Check

as a responce to the initial post, better late than never but..... i told ya so.

Well fellows and gals. This should be a really really BIG lesson for the future. The major players and probably all players that enter these large tournaments to earn a large paycheck could have a clearing house of sorts. This clearing house person would register the promoter, have him, her, or them prove available monies by depositing said sums in a cleaaring house account. After the monies are deposited the clearing house person would notify the players that they are invited to play in a tournament that involves sums of money. Explain how and when the payments will be distributed. Then the players can make an intelligent decision on whether to play or not.

This isn't a difficult concept. Most money that is present in sports is not presented on a promise. The money is guaranteed, period.

I really don't understand how these guys were duped into fronting the expenses involved in the IPT TOURNAMENT and not having any type of guarantee of payment.

Established tournaments and promoters wont need to prove anything. Those whom come out of nowhere will.

Agreed, it is not the insiders we have to worry about. The outsiders are a different sotry altogether. Like KT, Deno. and MS.

We are working on a story concerning the I. P. T. Please contact me if you feel as though you are owed money. Jason.r.knowles@abc.com
With The Windy City Open and The Derby City Classic this past week, many of the players in which you wish to reach are out of town.

This question can be submitted VIA me (in which you know how to reach me) and sent to all the players, sponsors and room owners.

Please submit a formal letter to me requesting this info, and I will get it to all of the above.

I will also send the info to Derby so that it is circulated.
