Just Ordered My New Cue

from Skip Weston today.

Classic four-pointer, ebony-bloodwood-maple veneers (real hardwood veneers as only Skip can do), with Ebony points (each sporting ivory tiffany diamond inlays). Birdseye maple forearm, ivory joint. Couldn't afford the leather wrap, but if I save enough I can change the order before the cue's done =)

My pocket's a little lighter, but for the kind of work Skip does he ought to be charging 3x as much.

Will post pics as soon as I get the cue, in about 12 weeks...*sigh*

Let all of us no when you get it.My Paul Drexler should be ready in a couple of weeks.It's just a basic Birds eye maple forarm with 4 ebony points Leather wrap and ebony butt sleeve.I will post pics when i get it.Take care

My new Skip will be finished end of July/beginning of August! I am very excited. I got a 6 pointer ebony forearm and amboyna burl points with Southwest style rings! I hope the wait doesn't kill me!

Yeah tell me about the wait. Mine's not arriving till the end of September.

Though it can't be harder than waiting for my Dayton, cuz I already have the Dayton to play with now. BTW, my Dayton is the by far the best hitting cue I've ever owned or played with. I can only hope my Skip will hit as nice (though either way the points alone are worth the $ and time).

Hey Roger,

I've just received my cue last night. The craftsmanship and the finish is top notch. I'll try to play with it this weekend. Hope it plays as good as it looks. I'll try to post some pics of the cue once I get my digicam back.
