a biiiig Gabriels at us billiards
met up with mr dogloose and he was kool enough to hold our hands and help us out on our first attempt at 3 cushion

I was already hooked even before taking the first shot but that was the nicest table ive ever played on anywhere
and I even more in love with 3 cushion

having my own billiards table is now a must

came home and played straight pool with a renewed enthusiasm for all billiards games

I was in your shoes 3 years ago, and a crazy good deal came my way, and pooof! now I have my 3c here at home :) I do feel bad for my GC pocket table....it has been relegated to a covered gun work bench....sad really.

I gootta get one of those 10 ft gabriels soooo damn nice

lucky thing for me is until I can get that nice table theres 3 just within 15 mins from me!

Those Gabriels were set up by Yura, AZB yesyura. It doesn't get any better than that.

Yura set up my Verhoeven. It plays absolutely perfect.

You are very fortunate indeed. I only wish I were lucky enough to have more than one just an hour and half away. My advice to you is....play them often and get others into it as well. It can help all of your pocket games. And hopefully those tables won't disappear.

I was one of those idiots as well. I should have learned to play back in the 80s when I first had the chance. Same with one-pocket. It wasn't until well later in my pool life did I truly understand how beautiful the games are. Do yourself a favor and get some of the books out there that are available if you haven't already. They will only help your game. Sid Banner's 3 Cushion book really helped me. And there are plenty of online resources and videos that will help as well. I have to make do with watching the videos until I get time to drive to the one table available south of DC. So consider yourself lucky.

so today I got in a good 3hr practice
and Im seeing more and more shots with the diamond system
still only hitting a few but much more near misses and having much more fun each outing

took my cousin who played 3c for the first time with me today he also enjoyed the game and enjoyed seeing the good players making nice shots

pretty frustrating fighting traffic only to see all the gabriels loaded up
and the 2 olhausen are trash glad I took mr frankels advice and held off

Saturday and Sunday though im usually the first one playing
ive outgrown practice I love playing against someone, always get more and more information on seeing shots and patterns by watching others play
plus they gladly give advice

my second game I scored 8 points in about 40mins
it felt good

I have a chevillotte with my name on it awaiting mr yuras next houston visit
