Just realized Digicue might have been inspired by....

...an old thread of mine (02-07-08) where I asked "Are there any electronic geniuses here?
I theorized that with today's technology someone could design a cue with onboard sensors that would audibly detect side-to-side (yaw?) movement of the cue.

That's a bridge too far..........like you had anything to do with another man's creation........Duh!
It's easy to have a general idea about something and then think you had anything to do with it
coming into fruition is just egocentric and total nonsense.....ever think about life on Mars? If you
did, then you can claim credit for inspiring space travel to explore that planet just like with Digicue.

I have one better.....I think if someone invented something like Digicue you could attach to your cue
and it would transmit real time infomation to your tablet or laptop or phone so that you could instantly
know what happened with that shot you missed or learn why you activated the device, this could be
immediately displayed and when you augment that real time info with video, then you have "nirvana".

Okay, everyone pay attention to my post so that if anyone comes along with this improvement, I can
claim credit for planting the seed that germinated into this device being developed and all becasue I
simply put down a few words that countless other pool players have already thought or written about.

Tip: When you try to ride the band wagon of another, just be prepared to fall and bounce on your ass,

I've thought about the meaning of life, and don't have much of an answer... can you help me out? :D:D:D:D:D:D

I often thought free porn would be awesome.

You are very welcome.
I hope you realize you are responsible for the entire interwebz. (Al Gore had nothing to do with it.) Somebody owes you a lot of money.

Maybe, except the first internet discussions on the subject that I recall predates yours by 10 years.

Actually, I think you've described the QMD3 pretty well...

The idea started as an evening exercise in designing small circuitry, something that I wasn't able to do during my day job working for the DoD. The government just wants to buy stuff, not have their engineers design things that they are liable for. In other words I was bored.

It was just for myself. It was only until I showed my pool friends that they suggested that it had some value. That gave me the idea for different parameters, and figuring out how to measure those was a better challenge. It took off from there after I partnered with OB and their resources. They're a great partner and do an excellent job.

Just kidding. I got the idea from fan-tum.
