Hi I'm new to this site and just wanted to intoduce myself. Moderators feel free to move this if I failed to post this in the right section and accept my appology. I played in high school and just after when I lived at home and we had a pool table. I got busy with life, got married, got a mortgage and got bored. A buddy of mine at work offered to have a drink with me and shoot a game of pool. I agreed but told him I hadn't played in about 10 yrs. That was 6 months ago and I've barely put down my stick since. I'm addicted...seriously and I love it. I'm so pissed at myself for missing out on 10 years of practice, but better late than never right?
Anyways, I was referred to this website after reading Kid Delicious' book "Running the table." For the very few of you who don't know, this book is an absolute must read! I'm hoping to talk to and get advise from people on here who are just as passionate about this sport as I am and maybe eventually meet up with a few of you in the Chicago area and rack a few. See ya around.
